Engage, Invest, Exploit - Reflecting on #EIE17

After months of pitch prepping, workshops and rehearsals, it's finally over.

I'd first like to congratulate all of my co-pitchers on their excellent pitching on the day. It's been a gruesome few months training and rehearsing for the big day, but I think you all smashed it when it was your time to shine. Special mention to award winners on the night Callum Murray of Amiqus and Pippa Gardner of Urban Tide. Well done class of '17!

I've made it no secret that pitching isn't my natural forte. If you asked me to do a 60-second intense pitch in a room of hundreds of investors a year ago without the training that EIE offered I would have run for the door. But I'm pleased to say everything went more than smoothly and I found the whole day an entirely enjoyable experience.

But of course, the day was about a lot more than the individual pitches. EiE offers the unique opportunity to hook up with hundreds of investors all in one day, and myself, Russell and Jordan had many great conversations with investors from all over the world. I don't think there's an event in the world quite like it for businesses looking to grow. I'd like to take this chance to thank everyone that came and visited our stand yesterday.
