Every year it's the same. Our expert team has worked its collective backside off all year, working at the bleeding edge of technology, keeping up to date, passing exams, honing and developing the skills that form the very fabric of what we do here at Exmos and once again we're all fielding questions from family and friends about what tech we recommend for Christmas. It's fun to watch some of their faces turn a funny colour when they realise that £180 might have got you a Sinclair ZX Spectrum in the early 1980's, but you can multiply that by at least 10 if you want something that's considered equally as cutting edge now.
It's not just in the run up to Christmas, either. In January we'll all share the same stories of how we spent the holidays setting up everyone else's technology, teaching the uninitiated how to take a selfie and removing all the malware from the sister-in-law's laptop. Next year we've agreed that we'll just write a blog with links and every time we're asked for our recommendations, we'll point them to the article!
We love what we do, though and whether it's a smart phone or a Raspberry Pi, a remote controlled lawnmower or a tablet, it's great to watch someone discover the benefits of clever technology for the first time and see inspiration dawn in their eyes.
(By the way, if you're really struggling for a gift for that special someone who has everything, nothing beats giving them your undivided attention.)
Happy holidays everyone, and all good wishes for 2016.

It's time to stop pointing fingers and take some ownership of Internet security.
